Hello, the Police Activities League is looking for a few good folks who are willing to volunteer their time to support a Fashion Design Club reaching out to 10 at-risk African-American youth ages 13-16 interested in the fashion business. We are still in need of skills in illustration, apparel contruction, patternmaking, event planning (fashion show), screen printers, models, stylists, hair, make-up, knowledge of the business and etc etc...any skill that will support this program is very much appreciated. BRING YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE! If you have a shop/boutique in Portland that we can fieldtrip to, that would be fantastic! Also, if you know of or are an African-American designer or in the Fashion Business in Portland I would love to hear from you!! ALL CULTURAL BACKGROUNDS WITH SKILLS IN FASHION ARE WELCOME!!
