Anthro Corporation, Technology Furniture®, (www.anthro.com) is a leading designer and manufacturer of furniture for technology, for applications in the education, medical, OEM and government markets.We have a strong history of growth and profitability since we started in 1984.Our innovative designs have won awards and Anthro’s products are considered to be leaders in the ergonomic furniture industry.

We need an experienced Web Developer to join our Tualatin team.The Website Developer is directly responsible for technical development of the customer facing layer of the Anthro.com website. This is a very hands-on position so the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines is a must.

Responsibilities
•Works with Application Developer to design, enhance and maintain the data models, interfaces and application integration required to support the Anthro.com site
•Develops, enhances and supports tools required for the administration, maintenance and support of the Anthro.com website and the Anthro corporate intranet site
•Responsible for all technical development required to support Search Engine Optimization (SEO) goals
•Works with the Creative Manager, IT department and business process owners to develop technical specifications for website enhancements and modifications
•Proactively troubleshoots reported issues from Anthro.com customers
•Ensures current and future internet browser compatibility, across all supported platforms, through proactive testing and troubleshooting of features and issues
•Develops, maintains and supports website navigation, search tools, “product configurator” , catalog request, job postings and shopping basket features of the site
•Incorporates and ensures accuracy of all web analytics and email campaign tracking tools and methods utilized on the Anthro.com website
•Develops, maintains and publishes projects plans for all work including design proposals, scope of work, timelines, detailed documentation and training
•Stays current in best practices, technologies and related tools and techniques required to perform responsibilities effectively and efficientlythrough research, training and reference materials
•Helps develop and enforce best practices for website development at Anthro

Requirements
•5+ years of experience with Microsoft development environments including Visual Studio (2003 & 2005), .NET (1.1 and 2.0), SQL Server (2000 & 2005), IIS (> 4.0), Windows Server (2003 and 2005) and VSS.
•3+ years of experience with Javascript, Actionscript, Flash, SQL, VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML
•3+ years of B2C and/or B2B website development experience
•3+ years of project management experience
•Bachelor’s degree in related field
•Proven ability to manage timelines, priorities and projects with limited supervision
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Industry knowledge of best practices, concepts, procedures and solution providers

.NET (ASP.NET, VB.NET), Javascript, VB script, Flash, SQL Server

Compensation
