Senior Staff Accountant responsible for providing the Controller with relevant financial data necessary for budgetary and financial decisions. Supports the operation and management of the Accounting Department activities. Reports directly to the Controller. Job duties to include: Responsible for preparing monthly account reconciliations on a timely basis. Responsible for performing monthly close on a timely basis. Perform monthly consolidation and prepare monthly consolidated financial statements. Assist in preparing monthly recurring and adjusting journal entries. Facilitate banking relationships and perform cash management function. Assist in annual SEC audit. Assist in preparation of Forms 10Q and 10K. Prepare reoccurring and ad hoc management reports. Support subsidiary accounting departments. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Job Qualifications: Accounting degree, CPA preferred, public accounting experience preferred. Knowledge of basic accounting skills. Thorough knowledge of GAAP. Desire to get the job done in an entrepreneurial environment. Demonstrated skill in the preparation of monthly reports. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Excellent organizational skills. Good time-management skills, recognizes the importance of timeliness. Excellent ability to perform all accounting functions. Demonstrated ability to accurately attend to detail. High degree of familiarity with and ability to use office machines. Job Specifications: Education/Training: Bachelors degree in Accounting. Ability to read, write and understand the English language. Work Experience: 2-5 years experience in Accounting
