I'm in need of a 2nd photographer for around 10 weddings this summer (late May thru September). Most of them are around Eugene/Corvallis and surrounding areas.
Ideal candidate:
- Will be proficient in photography with dSLR's. I'm a terrible teacher and can't explain how to do things (seriously, I just do them), so please don't come to me looking for lessons.
- Will have their own digital SLR equipment (I shoot Canon but you can shoot whatever the heck you want, as long as you can create usable RAW files)
- Must have at least a few decent lenses and an external flash
- Must be extremely reliable (not an easy job to find a replacement at the last minute)
- Gotta be fun and personable - for the most part your job is to blend in, but when interaction is required you need to have some personality!
- Must be available weekends! This seems like a no-brainer, but think long and hard about giving up a good chunk of your summer weekends. Trust me, it gets pretty frustrating when your friends are running around camping and going to concerts and you have to work!
- I'm sure I'll think of more "must haves," but it's almost 2am
Pay will depend on experience/equipment, starting at $150 per day.
