- Coordinate the development of relevant and timely one-sheets using overnights, sweeps and trade publications/sites.
- Create sales pieces that demonstrate the strengths of Comcast Spotlight and work with NCC to develop sales pieces relevant to Portland/Eugene.
- Work with Account Executives to develop comprehensive sales presentations that encompasses quantitative and qualitative data, specific industry and client research, market competitive information and other pertinent data that will maximize Comcast Spotlight's opportunity to earn business.
- Find sellable stories through the use of Local People Meter (LPM) data, sweeps books, trades CMR, SRC and Scarborough.
- Assist Research Manager with a book breakout after each sweeps period as well as other ratings analysis from LPMs.Provide sales department an analysis of the trends, success stories and opportunities that each ratings analysis provides.
- Provide presentations and/or updates in sales meetings regarding research issues (trends, opportunities, industry updates).
- Coordinate with GSM to maximize underutilized inventory.
- Meet with outer offices on a monthly basis.
- Attend client presentations/meetings as needed.
- Cross train on all software and research tools available.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deliver persuasive presentations to internal/external clients
- Excellent analytical skills, detail oriented, client service-oriented focus
- Proven collaboration and teamwork skills
- Ability to keep pace in an ever-changing environment and able to adapt quickly to change
- Ability to organize, clarify and communicate complex or ambiguous ideas effectively
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadline-oriented projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of product positioning

Preferred:

- 3-5 years related experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Strong understanding of cable and television industry, especially the sales environment
- A background in media and/or sales as an AE or analyst
- Experience with Strata (Q-View, View32, SOS, Cable Qual), Polk, Nielsen, TNS, Scarborough or other qualitative market research.
