GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF THE COLUMBIA WILLAMETTE PROGRAM MANAGER Production and Contracts (PAC) GENERAL INFORMATION: GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF THE COLUMBIA WILLAMETTE (GICW) provides jobs, skills training and placement services for people with disabilities or disadvantages so they can achieve success and independence through work. One way GICW helps people with developmental disabilities is through its Production and Contracts (PAC) Department.This department assists participants in raising their level of functioning and enhancing their work and social skills by providing training, employment, and opportunities for personal growth. In-house contract program participants perform work needed by companies in the business community; these contracts, in turn, provide training, employment and paychecks for our clients.There are currently 27 participants in PAC. SEEKING: GICW is seeking a person with previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities and a vision to help the program grow.(See requirements below). DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES,include but are not limited to: •Supervise 4-6 PAC staff. •Organize, manage and assure contract work for PAC participants; procure contract work from community businesses. •Assure appropriate incoming and outgoing billing. •Oversee, create and maintain accurate records (timings, standards, ISP, case management, Broker reports, billings, funding contracts, etc). •Maintain participant caseload and oversee caseloads handled by your PAC staff. •Attend meetings as assigned. •Ability to work independently and as a team player. •Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Be patient and empathetic with participants, as well as firm when necessary. •Maintain exemplary customer service with funding counselors, care providers, parents, community employers, other agencies, and GICW store managers and staff. •Assist in developing new program improvements and opportunities for the clients in PAC. •Hire, train, evaluate and supervise PAC job coaches. POSITION REPORTS TO: Director of Vocational Services WORKING CONDITIONS Office and workshop environment Ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle frequently changing job demands. Some travel required. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Required to maintain a drug/alcohol free workplace in accordance with the 1988 Drug Free Workplace Act and Department Policy. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: BA or BS degree. Must be able to read/write/speak English fluently. Must have computer skills (Word, Excel). Have own transportation. Must not present a direct threat to the safety & health of self, others, or property. Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check (required), including fingerprint test.
