Product Manager I
Seattle, WA and Portland, OR
Bring your product management expertise to the following role:
Manage the development and ongoing oversight of innovative strategies to ensure profitable enrollment growth of a commercial group product category
Oversee all phases of product management from assessment through strategy execution and ongoing monitoring of implementation tactics and results
Be accountable for the timely completion of product analysis, as well as formal product marketing plans, presentations and implementation of product changes
Work with the Product Development Cycle Manager to evaluate new product concepts specific to product line and local market areas
Product concepts approved through the product development process will be transferred to the Product Manager for design, development, introduction and incorporation into overall portfolio for ongoing management
Collaborate with the Manager of Product Operations to evaluate existing products for consolidation and closure
Product closures will be transferred to the Manager of Product Operations for project execution
Combine your degree and analytical abilities with the following skill sets:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
Minimum of 4 years experience in a product marketing or management position in the healthcare or insurance industry or equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA is preferred
Business aptitude, including an understanding of the organizational aspects of providing and financing health care
Excellent written and verbal communications
Ability to write executive level documents and make executive level presentations
Capability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong analytical ability with an aptitude to “think outside the box” and move abstract concepts to concrete actions and effective strategies
Exceptional team player with an ability to work within and lead cross-functional teams
Ability to negotiate and resolve complex and sensitive issues with diplomacy and persuasiveness
Project management experience leading diverse and complex projects
