A prominent, well established company in downtown Portland company is currently seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join their team.
Duties:
-Record financial data for use in maintaining accounting records and producing financial reports.
-Responsible for performing and coordinating general accounting functions.
-Perform analysis including cost accounting.
-Assist Controller with annual budget and forecasts
-Maintain GL and monthly internal financial statements.
-Prepare journal entries and reconcile GL accounts.
-Assist with payroll, AR and AP.
-Assist with audits
-Perform test counts of physical inventories
-Document accounting procedures
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
-3+ years in a Supervisory role
-Solid GL experience
-Excellent Excel/Word knowledge
-Great communication skills required
