Greetings, I'm Tera. I'm looking for 2 roomates to share a great house with me in N. Portland. Non Partiers please. I don't care if you drink on the weekend or are a social drinker but I don't drink and it would be cool if you are mellow about that. No drugs at all. I smoke, ciggerettes, totally down with that, outside in one of two sweet sitting spots.To move in You'll need a $30 screening fee, first months rent and a $600 deposit. Each month rent is $500 per person + untilites (gas,electric,cable/phone/dsl package and occasionaly trash/water/sewer.) Literally, it comes to about $615...not bad.Pets ok as long as they're under 35 lbs....I have 3 very odd/fun/quirky cats.Ok with that said, let's get on with the good stuff that you'll really be interested in :)About the house: It's a 3 bedroom, 1 bath, 2 story house with a nice layout, plenty of space and fully furnished (except your bedrroms.) (If your have items you to incorporate or more than bedroom stuff we can comprimse and work with that, I want you to feel this is your house and home like I do.) Plus there is a large daylight basement to store some stuff in, I have stuff there as well and there is also room for a shared work/creative/poject/studio/whatever you like area. There is access to it from the inside and out. I use it for project,creative room. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs which is carpeted, and the downstairs is refinished hardwoods. There is 2 living type areas, 2 couches and it's pretty large. Lots of windows and light, covered front porch with bistro table and bench for hanging out, plus other decor and plants; 2 front yard areas on either side of the walk way to the door. The kichen is pretty open to the rest of the house, slate tile floors, brand new cabinets, granite counter tops, gas range, dishwasher, all new apliances, stainless steel double sink. The bathroom is cute, and of off the kitchen. Window, tile floor shower/tub and the usuals. :) There's a dining area off the kithcen as well. Washing machine/dryer behind the kitchen with a pantry/storage area. Out the back door there is a large back yard with a HUGE apple tree, brand new fence. And a house behind our house. 2 designated off street parking areas in the back of the house and plently of street parking in the front. The house is blue and black with white trim. The place is very energy efficient with double paned windows and some high tech hot water system. Gas heat. It was built in the 1900's and completely re-furbished.It really is beautiful.One of the bedrooms for rent is slightly smaller than the other and have closet space.Both decent sized.All right...I think I got most of it...there are other asthetic interests about the house, like an archway between the 2 living areas, but your can check that out when you come to see the house in person.
About me:I'm a girl who likes to think of herself as fun, interesting, lively, active, inteligent, laidback, honest and reliable.I'm a gemini so I have so many interests I can't keep up with them.I curently go to school to be Landscape technologist/designer and get my contrators license.I have a culinary degree and that was my carrer until a work related surgery.I like to hike, cook, eat, practice yoga, swim, camp, fish, watch great films, listen to music, play in the dirt, make things, take things apart, play with things, create, write...writings a big one, I'm pretty "green."I'm close to my family and friends, have a great boyfriend..la la la...you'll get to know me.I'm currently landscaping this yard so your input would be welcomed unless it's not what I've already planned.Really though, it would be cool to colaborate.
About you:I need roomates that are financially secure, stable, reliable, prompt, considerate, genuine, have good rental history, haven't held up anyone at knife point.Ya know, the usuals.I would prefer people around my age but that's not necessary, I would also like a guy and a girl to move in but again, that's not necessary....couples are welcome too.No discrimination here.I really need the top part of this section.Those items are a must for me, and the landlord as well.Who is a great person...and I'm not kissing her ass. wink.
So, let's talk, get together, have a little pow wow to see if were a fit and see if you meet the ugly but necessary requirements.Which will be handled by the landlord, not me.I can send you pictures of the place, as is, furnished, inside and out upon request.A couple other perks is that the house is walking distance to PCC Cascade, a couple of miles to the freeways and as mentioned, minutes from Alberta and Mississippi.
